Tyler Murphy

Tyler Murphy currently serves as the Assistant Director of Housing Services at Seattle University, a position held since October 2019, where responsibilities include managing occupancy for 7 residence halls and apartment complexes for approximately 2,000 students, overseeing an annual housing revenue of about $30 million, and conducting quarterly financial audits. Tyler also recruits and supervises a team of student assistants, enhances housing procedures, and collaborates with various campus partners. Prior to this role, Tyler was the Assignments Coordinator for Student Housing and Residential Education at the University of San Francisco from July 2015 to October 2019 and also served as a Program Assistant in the Student Life Division. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Francisco and is pursuing a Master of Education in Student Development Administration at Seattle University.
