Jonas Boström

Jonas Boström has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jonas started their career as a Deckhand/2nd Engineer on M/Y Istros from 2006 to 2008. Jonas then worked as a Student at Chalmers University of Technology from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, they joined DNV Group as a Maretim Trainee, where they gained knowledge about marine structure and vessels. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Approval Engineer at DNV GL, focusing on containment solutions. In 2017, they joined Clean Motion as a Mechanical Engineer. Jonas then moved to m2d AB in 2016 as an Engineer until 2020. Jonas also worked at TTS Ships Equipment AB as a Summer Intern in 2011-2012, involved in R&D projects. Currently, they are working at SeaTwirl AB since 2018, initially as a Mechanical Design Engineer, then as a Project Manager, and currently holds the position of CTO from May 2020. Overall, Jonas Boström has gained hands-on experience and expertise in mechanical design engineering, project management, maritime safety, and containment solutions.

Jonas Boström pursued their education at Chalmers from 2009 to 2013, where they completed a Master's degree in Maskinteknik (Mechanical Engineering).
