Jonathan Herland M.D.

Jonathan Herland MD is a highly experienced Spine Pain Specialist with a long tenure at multiple hospitals including Mayo Regional Hospital, Sebasticook Valley Hospital, Calais Regional Hospital, Penobscot Valley Hospital, Cary Medical Center, Northern Maine Medical Center, and Northern Light Health since 2006. Additionally, Jonathan has operated as an Interventional Pain Physician since May 2002 and has been the owner of Jonathan Herland DSc MD PA since February 2000. Academic credentials include an MD from UMass Chan Medical School, a post-doctoral fellowship in Muscle Physiology from Harvard Medical School, a Doctor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Boston University, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to current roles, Jonathan served as the Pain Clinic Director at Fairmont General Hospital from 1998 to 2000.
