Alycia Chin

Alycia Chin is a Senior Financial Economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since March 2020, where responsibilities include serving as the deputy director for the POSITIER research initiative. Previously, Alycia held roles as a Senior Financial Economist and Financial Economist at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board from April 2018 to February 2020, focusing on survey and experimental research for policymaking. Additional experience includes a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, a detailee with the Office of the Investor Advocate at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and a Research Scientist at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where Alycia conducted a significant longitudinal trial on mortgage shopping.
