Dieter King

Dieter King is an experienced attorney in securities law, currently serving at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as an Attorney since March 2018. Previously, Dieter held the position of Partner in the Securities and Capital Markets Group at Ballard Spahr LLP for a brief period in early 2018. Dieter's extensive background at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission includes roles such as Assistant Director, Legal Branch Chief, and Staff Attorney from 2007 to 2017, contributing to the Office of Financial Services and various divisions of Corporation Finance. Prior to this, Dieter was a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department at Harter Secrest & Emery LLP from 2000 to 2007, advising clients on diverse corporate matters. Dieter holds a JD from St. John's University School of Law and a BA in History from Grinnell College.
