Nabeel Cheema

Nabeel Cheema is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and regulatory matters. Currently serving as Special Counsel in the Office of Rulemaking at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since June 2022, Nabeel has held prominent positions in various legal capacities, including Acting Associate General Counsel and Chief Counsel at the United States Postal Service from September 2017 to June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Special Assistant at the Postal Regulatory Commission and Attorney at the United States Postal Service, as well as positions as Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP. Nabeel Cheema holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from Columbia University.
