Patrick Costello serves as Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel and Senior Trial Counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission since July 2013. Prior to this role, Patrick was an attorney at Quarles & Brady LLP from August 2009 to July 2013 and held a similar position at Alston & Bird LLP between September 2002 and April 2009. Patrick obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 2002, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from Manhattan University in 1999. Additionally, Patrick studied at Universidad de Salamanca from 1997 to 1998.
