David Gomes is an experienced professional in the cement industry, currently serving as Plant Director for Secil at the Maceira and Pataias plants since April 2013. David has held various leadership roles, including Head of Performance and Maintenance Departments, where responsibilities involved maintenance budget control, contract management, and overseeing contractor activities. Prior experience includes Project Manager at Ciment de Sibline in Lebanon, focusing on revamping cement production lines for increased efficiency. David's career at Secil began in December 2005 as a Maintenance Engineer, advancing to positions with increasing responsibility, including project management and industrial development. David holds an Executive MBA from INDEG-ISCTE and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia - Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
