Daniel Hällback

Daniel Homer is an experienced security engineer with a strong background in cybersecurity and risk management. Currently serving as Security Engineer III at Akuna Capital since October 2023, Daniel previously held positions at Coinbase as a Blockchain Security Engineer focused on digital asset and protocol security, with responsibilities including blockchain and smart contract auditing and incident response. Additionally, Daniel contributed to cybersecurity education as an Assistant Instructor at the University of Toronto and has worked in various capacities at Hydro One and EWA-Canada, building expertise in supply-chain cyber risk management, vendor risk assessments, and security consulting. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with a focus on Computer and Internet Security from Carleton University.
