Heather Verble

Heather Verble has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in both nonprofit and private sector organizations. Heather most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee from 2016 to the present, where they were responsible for maintaining the integrity of all general ledger transactions and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Barbershop Harmony Society from 2009 to 2014, where they oversaw all financial activities and prepared annual and interim financial statements. Heather also has experience as a Controller/Operations Manager at Genesis, Inc. /Spectrum Reading Company, LLC, where they managed daily operations and accounts receivable. Heather began their career as a Tax Senior Associate at Kruse and Associates, P.C. and Arthur Andersen LLP. Overall, Heather Verble has a diverse range of experiences in financial management and brings a wealth of knowledge to their roles.

Heather Verble earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's Degree in Accounting at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1997 to 1998.
