Meredith Leigh

Meredith Leigh serves as the Climate Programs Manager for Member Engagement at Second Nature, where responsibilities include guiding carbon offset strategies for higher education institutions and expanding related programs. As Co-Founder and CEO of The Fermentation School, Meredith leads a virtual education initiative that empowers women and femme-identifying educators in fermentation. In addition, Meredith holds the role of Strategic Partnerships Specialist at Carbon Harvest, promoting a regional carbon management platform supporting local farms. Experience as a writer and consultant with mereleighfood centers on project development across the food sector. Previous roles include education and outreach at Living Web Farms, and serving as Conference Coordinator and Executive Director at Organic Growers School, contributing to the sustainable agriculture community. Meredith holds a B.A. in Environmental Science & Sustainable Agriculture and Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College.
