Rosie Carr has worked in the field of nutrition and dietetics since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Clinical and Community Dietitian for the Waikato District Health Board, where they were responsible for nutrition assessment, analysis, education and treatment for acute and chronic conditions in a variety of settings. In 2017, they held two locum positions as a Clinical Dietitian, one at Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust and one at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. At Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, they were responsible for treating inpatients and outpatients in the following specialist areas: oncology, respiratory, cardiology, gastroenterology, general medicine, enteral feeding, stroke, elderly and palliative care. Since 2018, Rosie has been working at Second Nature as the Head of Health Coaching and Dietitian and NHS Coaching Lead. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing and managing the growth and development of their remote health coaching team (registered Dietitians and Nutritionists) as they expand throughout the UK and internationally, as well as developing programme content and facilitating on-going training and development for the health coach team within a digital health tech environment.
Rosie Carr obtained their Master's degree in Dietetics from the University of Otago in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Nutrition from the same university in 2012. Rosie also attended Waikato Diocesan School for Girls from 2003 to 2009 and obtained their NCEA Level One, Two, and Three.
