Josh Mitchell

Josh Mitchell has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Director of Engineering at Second Nature. Prior to this, they worked at Casted as Director of Engineering, where they defined engineering processes, participated in roadmap planning, and played a vital role in achieving SOC 2 certification. Josh also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Casted, handling the entire tech stack and managing infrastructure in Google Cloud. Before Casted, Josh was Director of Software Development at Synovia Solutions LLC, leading multiple teams and contributing to the launch of the Here Comes the Bus mobile app. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at Synovia Solutions LLC, a .NET Developer at Brooksource, an IT Specialist at the United States Department of Defense, and a Software Engineer Intern at I/Gear Inc.

Josh Mitchell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Butler University from 2004 to 2009. Josh also obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Indiana University Indianapolis during the same time period. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in August 2018.
