Mark Sgarlata

Mr. Sgarlata is a Managing Director of Secretariat, based in Washington DC, and focuses on business development throughout the United States. Prior to joining Secretariat, Mr. Sgarlata was a construction and government contracts litigator for over 25 years, specializing in complex litigation before US Appellate and District Courts, State Courts, the Court of Federal Claims and US and International arbitration panels. Mr. Sgarlata successfully litigated and resolved major and complex claims on behalf of construction and government contractors, design engineers, owners and sureties on a vast array of projects including bridges, tunnels, subway systems, water treatment facilities, data centers, power plants and public and private facilities. He is taking his keen knowledge and contacts in the US disputes market to expand and develop Secretariat’s client and consultant base.
