Aaron Thacker

Aaron Thacker, M.A., currently serves as the Director of Communications for the Secretary of State in Arizona as of December 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Communications Consultant at Gunnison Consulting Group, Inc., and various positions with the National Guard Bureau, where Thacker managed a team responsible for strategic messaging, served as a lead spokesman during a critical incident at the U.S. Capitol, and advised on media activities. Thacker's background also encompasses significant roles in public affairs and communication strategies at the Arizona Department of Emergency & Military Affairs, and experience as a Program Manager at Google, focusing on marketing resources.
