Lily Gao

Lily Gao has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2013. Lily began their career as a Marketing Intern at Lenovo before working as a Software Engineer at Disney Research and a UI/UX Designer at SytUp in 2014. That same year, they also co-founded BrewMe, a hospitality related mobile application, and participated in the Cornell Hospitality Business Plan Competition. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer at Next Jump and in 2016 they began working at BlackRock as an Associate and Analyst in the Aladdin Product Group. In 2019 they were a Product Designer at Zehitomo and in 2020 they were a User Experience Designer at Freelance. Lily is currently the Director of Product Design at Section L.

Lily Gao has a long educational history. Lily began their studies at Kent School, where they earned their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates in 2009-2011. Lily then attended Cornell University, where they earned their Bachelor's in A&S - Information Science from 2011-2015. Lily continued their studies at Cornell University and earned their Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services in 2015-2016.
