Benjamin Shepherd

Benjamin Shepherd, CFE has extensive work experience, starting in 2006 as a Production Team Lead and QA Teach at Crystal Finishing Systems, Inc. Benjamin then worked as a Production Coordinator at HCI from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they joined Graebel Van Lines as a General Ledger Accountant, where they maintained the general ledger for two branch locations and performed various financial duties until 2014.

In 2014, Benjamin joined Sentry as an Internal Auditor, where they demonstrated a passion for internal audit and led an initiative to transform the organization's risk assessment process. Benjamin also served as the Data Analytics Lead in Internal Audit and an Accountant II during their time at Sentry.

From 2020 to 2021, Benjamin worked at CONNECT, powered by American Family Insurance, where they held various roles, including Senior Planning/Program/Portfolio Manager, Business Analyst II, and Senior Internal Auditor.

In 2021, Benjamin joined American Family Insurance as a Business Analyst IV, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they serve as a Senior Data Analyst at SECURA Insurance, starting in November 2022. Benjamin's work experience showcases their expertise in data analytics, internal audit, financial analysis, and project management.

Benjamin Shepherd, CFE holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Rasmussen College, which they completed between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Manufacturing from Bay de Noc Community College, completing it from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their education, Benjamin has obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in August 2019.
