Carissa Varick

Carissa Varick has work experience in the insurance and financial industries. Carissa worked as an Actuarial Analyst at SECURA Insurance from 2017 to present. Prior to that, they were an Actuarial Intern at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in 2016. In 2015, Carissa worked as a Corporate Treasury Intern at Associated Bank, where they gained experience in financial modeling, EVIEWS statistical software, and Excel. Carissa also learned about the inner workings of corporate treasury and noted parallels between the banking and insurance industries.

Carissa Varick completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a degree in Comprehensive Actuarial Science with a specific focus on Actuarial Science. After completing their degree, Carissa obtained the Associate Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) certification from the Casualty Actuarial Society in July 2022.
