Shavan Chalasane

Shavan Chalasane has a diverse work experience. From 2021 to present, they worked at SECURA Insurance, first as an Automation Engineer and then as a DevOps Developer. Prior to that, they worked at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group from 2018 to 2021 as a Software Quality Engineer. Before entering the insurance industry, Shavan was a Restaurant Owner at Sai Ram Indian Cuisine, inc from 1999 to 2015.

Shavan Chalasane obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2018. They have also received several additional certifications throughout their education and career. In June 2018, Shavan became an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level from the UK Testing Board. Additionally, in the same month, they obtained an Oracle Certified Associate | Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle. In February 2018, Shavan obtained a Scrum Fundamentals Certified certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Most recently, in May 2022, they became a SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner certified by Scaled Agile, Inc.
