Christiane Langer M.D.

Christiane Langer, MD, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Clinical & Medical Affairs at Secura Bio, Inc. since June 2025. Prior to this role, Christiane held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs (Ex-China) at BeiGene from August 2021 to August 2024, and Senior Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs at Atara Biotherapeutics from May 2019 to August 2021. Previous experience includes Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs at Agios Pharmaceuticals, and leadership roles in Medical Affairs at Roche and Genentech, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of oncology portfolios. Christiane began a career in medical affairs at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and earlier worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Burnham Institute and completed an OBGYN residency at Medizinische Hochschule Hannover. Christiane earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The University of Freiburg between 1989 and 1996.
