At Secure Code Warrior, a large part of our marketing focus is on event and field marketing activities, helping drive strong brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. We are seeking an experienced Senior Event Marketing Manager who is passionate about the strategic, operational, analytical, and business relationships that contribute to the success of events.  This driven, creative, and collaborative event professional will support our global event activities end-to-end, including tier-1 events like RSAC and Black Hat, various partner-related conferences and activations, and dedicated customer events and advisory boards.

The Senior Event Marketing Manager will work across cross-functional teams to deliver on each event's marketing and sales goals, helping execute the social media strategy, content and collateral needs, sponsorship deliverables, communications, demand generation, sales enablement, staffing, and event execution & logistics. The ideal candidate will ensure each event aligns with Secure Code Warrior’s overall event strategy and brand identity but delivers on the individual needs of the specific region, industry, and audience segment.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Plan, budget, measure ROI, and set lead and pipeline generation goals, ensuring meticulous tracking towards objectives.
  • Define tasks based on company priorities and troubleshoot problems independently.
  • Effectively communicate successes aligned with the company's core business outcomes.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and collaborate with managers and analysts to establish reporting mechanisms for tracking results.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and partner/channel teams to strategize the selection of the most suitable tradeshows and conferences for Secure Code Warrior.
  • Oversee pre-, during, and post-event planning, reimagining virtual and in-person events to maximize engagement, and regularly reporting on business results.
  • Define the unique approach and execution for your lead events.
  • Project manage event assignments, including cross-functional team standups, leadership approvals, Salesforce reporting, and stakeholder readouts.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimization of resources.
  • Manage vendor communications, contracting, and invoicing.
  • Create and manage event landing pages and registration.
  • The role will involve on-site event operations, including set-up, registration, booth operations, and strike. It will also require 15-25% travel.
  • Build and iterate on best practices and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and scale event programs.
  • Act as an evangelist for Secure Code Warrior’s marketing processes and principles.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in B2B event management, including both in-person and virtual platforms, with a proven track record of engaging across a variety of audiences.
  • A dedication to perfecting small details and exceeding user experience expectations.
  • Previous collaboration with sales and partner/channel, demonstrating an understanding of how to support and accelerate their efforts.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign results to derive actionable business recommendations.
  • Comfortable with multitasking, catering to various stakeholders within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing marketing automation and CRM tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and Churnzero.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex challenges to peers and managers.
  • Proven effective collaboration with cross-functional team members, approaching challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and rally project teams.
  • Physically able to occasionally lift to 40 pounds as needed for event operations.
  • Ideal but not required: Have experience at a global cybersecurity company.
