Dimithri Liyanage

Dimithri Liyanage's work experience includes serving as the Head of Security, Risk and Privacy at Secure Code Warrior since January 2022. Prior to that, from January 2021 to January 2022, they were the Head of Security Governance, Risk and Compliance at the same company. Before joining Secure Code Warrior, Dimithri worked at Deputy as a Principal Consultant in Security, GRC & Privacy from May 2020 to January 2021, and as the Acting Head of Security Governance, Risk & Compliance from December 2019 to May 2020. Additionally, they have held roles such as Senior Manager Cyber Resilience & Governance at The Star Entertainment Group from September 2017 to October 2019, and Senior Security Consultant at NSW Department of Education from April 2017 to September 2017. Earlier in their career, Dimithri gained experience at organizations including Westpac Institutional Bank, ASX (Australian Securities Exchange), Department of Justice NSW, Boral, and HP.

Dimithri Liyanage received a Bsc in Information and Communication Systems from Macquarie University in 2003. Later, from 2015 to 2019, Dimithri obtained a Master of Information Technology degree in Information Technology Management from Charles Sturt University. Dimithri also holds several additional certifications, including Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer - CDPSE from ISACA in 2020, Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in 2018, and Control Objectives for Information Technology (COBIT) from ISACA in 2016, among others.
