Chris Harper

Chris Harper is an accomplished Chief Risk Officer with extensive experience in risk management. Currently serving at Secure Trust Bank since April 2021, Chris leads the Group Risk teams and oversees risk management activities. Prior roles include Chief Risk Officer at Royal Bank of Scotland International, where responsibilities encompassed managing second line of defence control activities and ensuring risk requirements for a stand-alone bank. Chris also held the position of Head of Credit Risk for Asia at Coutts, supervising credit risk teams across Singapore and Hong Kong, and was Head of Business Risk & Controls in the APAC region for Royal Bank of Scotland. Chris's educational background includes an International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance and an AMCT Diploma in Treasury, alongside a BSc in Economics from The University of Manchester.
