Sebastian Misiewicz has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Sebastian started their career at Paltalk in 2007 as a Web/RIA Developer, where they co-developed Paltalk Express and developed various web flash widgets. Sebastian then transitioned to become an Android Developer in 2010, and later an iOS Developer in 2011. During this time, they built the Firetalk App for iOS and contributed to the app payment flow through Stripe. Sebastian also mentored a junior developer and helped with building QA structure and UI automation setup using Appium.

In 2016, Sebastian joined PeerStream, Inc. as a Senior iOS Developer, where they were responsible for building the entire stack for the project "Pack". Sebastian created custom UI/UX elements and implemented a video call grid for up to 8 participants, an interactive global top slider, and a dynamic call navigator. Sebastian also worked on project "Backchannel" as an Enterprise Software Engineer, where they were involved in UI/UX design for Android and iOS using react-native. Sebastian built video calling and audio push-to-talk features, leveraged Keychain and encrypted Realm DB for data security, and implemented custom animations and transitions.

Sebastian's most recent work experience is at SecureCo, LLC, where they currently hold the role of a Software Engineer.

Sebastian Misiewicz attended Queens College from 2004 to 2008, majoring in Computer Science.
