Michael McNamee has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1985. Michael began their career at Torque Center USA as a Freestyle Team Manager and Department Manager. In 1995, they joined WW Grainger as an IT Services Technician. In 2002, they moved to Prizm Technologies as a Field Services Manager, responsible for overseeing a team of field service personnel deployed to client sites nationwide and developing support strategies for national clients. In 2005, they joined Kewaunee Scientific Corp. as a Senior LAN Manager, supporting the entire corporate network infrastructure and managing a team of desktop and network technicians. In 2006, they joined SecurEdge Networks as Vice President, VP of Engineering, and Mobility Practice Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing a half dozen engineers, developing the mobility practice engineers and their skill sets, and supporting the sales staff in presenting mobility solutions to customers. Finally, in 1999, they founded Tech Werx as an Owner and Technology Consultant.
Michael McNamee's education history includes a BA in Communications Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, obtained between 1994 and 1999. Michael then attended the New Horizons Computer Learning Center between 2000 and 2002, where they obtained an MCSE in Networking - Microsoft - Cisco. Theireducation history is rounded out by their college preparatory studies at Muskego High School, which they attended between 1983 and 1987. Michael also holds certifications from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company (ACMP, obtained in April 2008), Aruba Networks, an HP company (ACDX), Palo Alto Networks (ACE), Aruba Networks, an HP company (AWMP), and Brocade (BCNE).
