Renee Montz

Renee Montz is currently working at Securian Financial as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary. Prior to their current role, Renee worked as an Attorney at Mayer Brown from 2000 to 2004. Renee then moved on to American Equity, where Renee held various positions including Legal Advisor, Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary, and Deputy General Counsel from June 2014 to June 2021. Before their time at American Equity, Renee also served as General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at AEGON USA Investment Management, LLC from June 2004 to June 2014.
