Rod van Genderen

Rod Van Genderen is an experienced finance professional, currently serving as the Head of Operational Risk at Securian Financial since March 2020, where leadership of the Enterprise Risk Management - Operational Risk Program is a primary focus. Previously, Rod held the position of CFO/Financial Controller at Principal Financial Group and worked as the Assistant Director of Capital Markets from January 1999 to June 2004. Rod's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Business, and Psychology from Central College, obtained between 1988 and 1991.
