Sid Gandhi

Sid is member of our executive leadership team and leads our Group Benefits business, which includes managing the growth and profitability of our group life and voluntary insurance products. In addition, he is the chairman of the board for Empyrean Benefits Solutions, one of our independently operated subsidiaries, that complements our broad lineup of innovative solutions for the employee benefits market.

Experience

Sid joined Securian Financial in 2010 and has led several of our major strategic initiatives, including managing multiple acquisition transactions and introducing new capabilities (brand, innovation, data) that have enhanced our position as a leading, customer-centric organization. He was promoted to senior vice president in 2017 when he was named the head of our Enterprise Technology area, where he managed all aspects of our technology transformation. Prior to joining Securian Financial, Sid held leadership roles at major financial and information services firms and worked as a consultant for a global consulting organization.
