Tricia Umeh, CAP, PMP

Tricia Umeh, CAP, PMP has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Tricia has worked as a Director, Federal Risk Management Branch at Securicon, LLC, leading internal and external teams to provide federal clients with information security services. Tricia has extensive experience in developing FISMA compliant Certification and Accreditation documentation and providing clients with assessments of technical and operational vulnerabilities along with mitigation strategies.

Additionally, Tricia has worked as a Managing Consultant/Project Manager at Securicon, LLC, where they led the development of System Security Plans for the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and conducted security controls assessments for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Tricia also worked as a Security Consultant at Securicon, LLC, analyzing and implementing information assurance and security standards for various clients.

Prior to their roles at Securicon, LLC, Tricia served as a Project Manager at CyberSoft Technologies Corporation, managing projects within the company. Tricia also worked as a Sr. Business Consultant at Aquilent, where they developed training programs and conducted training sessions for federal agency staff and contractors.

Tricia's earlier experience includes working as a Project Analyst Contractor at Trak Services, managing product lifecycle and maintaining websites and production systems. Tricia also served as a Director, Product Management at Genova Consulting Group, overseeing the design and implementation of web-based interactive courses. In addition, Tricia worked as a Senior Program Manager at AOL Time Warner - Netscape Netbusiness, where they managed project estimations, oversaw project deliverables, and monitored project financials.

Throughout their career, Tricia has demonstrated expertise in information security, project management, training, and product management. Tricia possesses certifications in CAP and PMP.

Tricia Umeh, CAP, PMP has a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Studies from Northwestern University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) from (ISC)² and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute. Tricia is also currently working towards obtaining their CISSP certification from (ISC)².
