Shubham Vijay

Shubham Vijay's work experience includes serving as a Cloud Security Engineer at Securin Inc. since 2023, where they focus on offensive pentesting and has expertise in Attack Surface Management, Vulnerability Management, Pentesting, and Vulnerability Intelligence.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at IBM from 2022 to 2023. Shubham also worked at Capgemini as an Associate Consultant from 2019 to 2022, handling cloud security for clients like Follett and Alstom. Shubham'sresponsibilities included real-time monitoring, investigating and fixing security threats in coordination with cloud teams. Additionally, they evaluated cloud-native security tools and documented high-level multi-cloud security solutions.

Before joining the professional workforce, Shubham gained experience through internships at Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, where they designed a Gate Driver Circuit of MOSFET, and at Vision World Tech Pvt. Ltd., where they received training in PLC, SCADA, Motor Drives and Panels. Shubham also worked with Indian Railways and Skyphi Technologies in 2017 and 2016 respectively.

Shubham Vijay completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur-Alumni, starting in 2015 and finishing in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Shri Bhawani Niketan Public School in Jaipur from 2011 to 2014, where they completed their Intermediate School (XII) studies with a focus on Science and Math.

Additionally, Shubham Vijay has obtained multiple certifications. Shubham became a Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals in April 2022 and a Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate in March 2022. In January 2021, they earned the certification of Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate. Prior to that, in November 2020, they received the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate certification and in October 2020, the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate and Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator- Internet Access Security Specialist certifications. In September 2020, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and earlier, in February 2020, obtained the AWS Technical Professional and AWS Solution Architect Foundation certifications. Shubham also holds a certification in Cybersecurity from Manipal ProLearn in January 2020. In terms of non-technical certifications, Shubham Vijay achieved proficiency in English with the EF Education First - English Proficiency certification in October 2019. Shubham also completed a certification in Industrial Automation in May 2017 from Vision World Tech Pvt.Ltd. and one in Embedded System and Robotics in May 2016 from Skyphi Technologies.
