Helena Silling has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in legal and data privacy roles. Currently, they are the Head of Global Legal Data & Privacy at Securitas Group, where they drive the global privacy and data function and leads the AI governance project. Prior to their current role, they served as the Global Data Protection Officer & Senior Legal Counsel at Securitas Group, where they were responsible for the privacy program and compliance activities. Before joining Securitas Group, Helena held positions such as Samordnare stockholmssektionen at Forum för Dataskydd, Data Protection Officer at Qliro Group, and Legal Counsel & Head of Legal CoE, Group Data Privacy Programme at Nordea. Helena has also worked at Santander Consumer Bank AB and GE Capital, where they held various legal roles and was responsible for data privacy programs.

Helena Silling completed their Master of Law degree from Stockholm University, specializing in the field of Law. Helena studied at Stockholm University from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, they attended Kristofferskolan but did not obtain a specific degree or field of study from there. In addition to their formal education, Helena Silling obtained a certification in "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from the MIT Sloan School of Management in November 2023.
