Ross McKechnie began their work experience in 2003 as a Graduate Consultant at TORI Global. Ross then worked as a Senior Consultant at Protiviti UK from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Risk Manager at Schroders. In 2008, they joined Standard Chartered Bank and held various roles, including Chief of Staff and Head of Risk Governance. In 2014, they moved to Wells Fargo as the Head of Central Compliance for Asia Pacific. Ross then joined UBS in 2015 and held multiple positions, including Head of Employee Conduct for APAC. In 2020, they became the Head of the Permanent Control Unit APAC at Natixis. Ross is currently working as the Senior Director of Enforcement at the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) since 2023.
Ross McKechnie completed their undergraduate education from 1998 to 2002 at the University of St Andrews, where they earned an MA (Hons) in Economics. Ross later pursued further studies at the University of Southampton from 2002 to 2003, completing a Master of Business Administration.
