Xialing Zhang

Xialing Zhang is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Manager in the Corporate Finance Division at the Securities and Futures Commission since July 2017, focusing on IPO vetting and debt securities. Xialing's prior roles at the Commission include Assistant Manager, Associate, and Graduate Trainee across various divisions. Previous summer internships took place at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Mizuho Bank, Credit Suisse Founder Securities Ltd., and the National Bureau of Economic Research. Xialing holds a Bachelor of Laws from The Manchester Metropolitan University, a Master of Philosophy in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from HKUST. Additionally, a visiting student experience in Economics was completed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
