Tom Eidt

Tom Eidt is currently the General Counsel at Securitize. Prior to this, they were the General Counsel at Omniex Holdings, Inc. from January 2018 to December 2019. Before that, they were the Assistant General Counsel at KCG Holdings, Inc. from January 2009 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for drafting comment letters to regulators regarding proposed rule changes and interpretations, as well as participating with industry groups on market structure issues. Eidt also provided legal counsel to business units on securities, regulatory and compliance matters.

From January 1998 to December 2009, Eidt served as the Assistant Director of the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing examinations of broker-dealers, investment advisers, and investment companies for compliance with federal securities laws and regulations.

Tom Eidt attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.). Tom also attended the University of Vermont.

They are on a team with Wilfred Daye - CEO, Securitize Capital, Danya Dumbrill - Chief Strategy Officer & Chief of Staff, and Scott Harrigan - CEO, Securitize Markets. Tom Eidt reports to Carlos Domingo, CEO & Co-Founder.
