Paolo Valentin Almazan

Paolo Valentin Almazan is a seasoned professional in strategy and analytics with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Senior Assistant Vice President and Strategy and Analytics Head at Security Bank Corporation since September 2020, Paolo leads various units, including Data Analytics and Risk Mitigation. Additionally, Paolo has a prominent role in the Credit Card Association of the Philippines, first as Vice-Chairperson in 2022 and then as Chairperson of the Collections Committee in 2023, managing significant industry-wide projects. Prior to his current roles, Paolo held several key positions at Metrobank and Metrobank Card Corporation, focusing on collections strategies, business performance, and recovery management. Paolo's career began at HSBC Philippines, where essential skills in customer service and collections were developed. Educationally, Paolo holds a Bachelor's Degree in European Studies Business from Ateneo de Manila University.
