Farnood Faghihi, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Tarbiat Modares University, where they taught courses on Secure Software Development and Advanced Network Security while assisting in grading assignments and projects. In 2018, Farnood joined Queen's University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they developed sandboxes, frameworks, and tools to detect and neutralize mobile malware. They also reviewed research papers for prestigious journals and conferences related to cybersecurity. Additionally, Farnood served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, teaching Introduction to Cybersecurity and Database Management Systems while managing the work of other TAs and contributing to course design. Farnood Faghihi, PhD, has a strong educational background in computer science and software engineering. Farnood pursued their Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSE) degree at Islamic Azad University, Najafabad Branch, from 2010 to 2015. Farnood then went on to complete their Master of Science (MSc) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Tarbiat Modares University from 2015 to 2018. Farnood furthered their academic pursuits by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Queen's University from 2018 to 2022.
