Bill Herron

Bill Herron has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Bill started their career as a Relationship Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and worked there for six years. Bill then served as a Branch Manager at Commerce Bank for one year and later moved to Comerica Bank, where they held the same position for a year and a half. In 2007, Bill became a Branch Manager at Dort Financial Credit Union, where they managed operations and sales efforts for the Main Office. After nine years in that role, they joined Security Credit Union as the Vice President of Operations. In this role, they supervise multiple departments and is responsible for the operation of the credit union.

Bill Herron completed their general education at Rich South High School from 1991 to 1995. Bill then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Illinois Wesleyan University, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they attended Illinois State University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Politics & Government. In 1995, prior to their enrollment at Illinois Wesleyan University, Bill briefly attended Loyola University Chicago, focusing on Political Science and Government.
