Cherise Esparza

Cherise Esparza is the Co-Founder and CTO at SecurityGate. Cherise has over 30 years of experience in cyber security and has been working in the field for over a decade. Prior toSecurityGate, they were the Co-Founder and President of Gulf Coast Risk Solutions, a cyber security company focused on mitigating cyber risks to critical infrastructures and automation systems. Cherise has also worked as a Manager for Offshore Technology PCD Security Program at Noble Drilling and as Lead for Enterprise IT Vulnerability Assessment Service in the CIO office at Enbridge.

Cherise Esparza holds an MBA in International Business & Finance from the University of St. Thomas (TX), and they have completed three years of the Pre Freshman Engineering Program (PREP) at the University of Houston. Cherise also holds a BS in Computer Science - Cyber Security from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has completed classes in UofH ICS. Cherise is certified in SCADA/ICS Security from the Center for Information Security Research and Education, College of Technology, University of Houston.
