Alan Tan

Alan Tan has a diverse range of work experience. Alan is currently the Founder, Inventor, and Chairman of the Board at SecurKart LLC since August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Co-Chair at the Connecticut Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity, and Opportunity starting in July 2019. From September 2016 to August 2022, Alan was the Chief Operating Officer at PenangBenny Consulting LLC, where they focused on innovation in regulatory compliance. Alan also served as the President and CEO of The TAN2000 International Regulatory Corporation from November 1996 to May 2022. In addition, Alan has held various positions at the Connecticut Commission on Equity and Opportunity and the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission. During their time at Northeast Utilities from May 2007 to October 2012, Alan worked as a Business Applications Software Developer. Alan also gained experience as a Class III Student Computer Technician at the University of Connecticut - Asian American Cultural Center from August 2005 to August 2009.

Alan Tan attended the University of Connecticut from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Management and Entrepreneurship. Alan obtained this degree from the University of Connecticut as well as its School of Business.
