Daniel Mothersdale

Daniel Mothersdale has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Daniel is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Securosys since January 2022. In this role, they are responsible for the development of the UK and NE regions and securing various applications.

Prior to that, Daniel was the VP EMEA (APAC) at Utimaco from June 2019 to November 2021. Daniel advised and managed the strategy development and growth of the German cybersecurity company, including the recruitment of a new team for the EMEA organization.

In 2014, Daniel briefly served as the Interim CEO at Espion AI International. Prior to that, they were the CEO at GrIDsure Ltd. (SafeNet.) from October 2011 to June 2014. During their tenure, they achieved investor objectives and drove a revenue increase of 125% within the first nine months. Daniel focused on selling cyber security solutions to various sectors, including government, public sector, banking, utilities, transport, healthcare, and defense.

Daniel also worked at Thales (nCipher Corp Plc.) as the SVP International Sales from March 2007 to October 2011. In this role, they developed the global cyber security organization, specializing in PCI-DSS, HSM, and PKI solution sales. Daniel managed a large team and shaped sales strategies for global banking and financial services, government, and defense sectors.

Before that, Daniel held the position of Sales and Marketing Director at Webroot Software from June 2004 to March 2007, and as a Marketing Director at Symantec (Brightmail, Inc.) from January 2001 to June 2004.

Daniel Mothersdale has a Diploma in Pure Mathematics from The Open University, which they obtained starting in 2007. Daniel also has a BSc in Physics & Communication from the University of Sussex.
