Marta Salvà Cifuentes

Marta Salvà Cifuentes is currently serving as a SMETA Trainer at Sedex, focusing on the training roll-out of Sedex’s new SMETA audit methodology. Previously, Marta held the position of Sustainability Consultant at Veris Strategies, overseeing sustainability projects and client management. With extensive experience at Abel & Cole, Marta established the Sustainability team and shaped the company’s sustainability strategies. Additional roles include managing quality control at Europastry, S.A., and engaging with food policies as a volunteer with Sustain. Marta holds a Master's degree in Sustainability in the Food Industry from London Metropolitan University and a B.S. in Biology and Food Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
