Madeline Phelps

Madeline Phelps is a UCSD TRIO Event Coordinator responsible for sensitive data entry and organizing inventory. Madeline also works as an Upward Bound Summer Tutor/Mentor, providing educational support to high school students. Additionally, Madeline serves as a Structures Engineer at Halya and Vulcan II, focusing on design and research for aerospace projects. Madeline also takes on the role of an Attitude Control Systems Engineer for a cubesat project. As a co-lead at SEDS UCSD, Madeline mentors women in engineering and organizes meetings. Furthermore, Madeline has experience as an AVID Tutor at Grossmont Union High School District. Madeline is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at UC San Diego.
