Gitanjali Baveja

Gitanjali Baveja is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the ophthalmology field. Currently serving as a Medical Science Liaison at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since May 2024, Gitanjali also holds roles as a Healthcare Consultant and Chief Medical Officer at ZASTI, working on AI-powered software solutions to improve healthcare. In addition, Gitanjali has been the Executive Vice President and an Ophthalmologist at See Clearly Vision Group since September 2021 and was an Ophthalmologist at Loudoun Eye Care from February 2007 to September 2021. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in South Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, a Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and completion of an Ophthalmology Residency Program at the University of Virginia.
