Faisal Shafait

Faisal Shafait is the current Associate Dean of the Department of Computing at SEECS NUST. Faisal has also previously worked as the Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at VisionX from January 2018 to December 2019. Faisal has also been a Professor at National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) and a Technology Advisor at Novapex Software Technologies from January 2014 to December 2016. In addition, they have also worked as the Chief Scientist at Veeve and as a Research Assistant Professor at The University of Western Australia from January 2013 to January 2015.

Faisal Shafait received their PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern and their Master of Science in Information and Communication Systems from Hamburg University of Technology.

They are on a team with and Quanita Kiran - Head of the Department of Humanities & Sciences. Faisal Shafait reports to Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Principal.
