Marian Bangura

Marian Bangura currently serves as Program Manager at Seed Global Health since August 2023. Previously, Bangura held the position of National UN Nutrition Facilitator at the World Food Programme from May 2020 to August 2023 and worked as Health and Nutrition Coordinator for Relief International in South Sudan from March 2017 to September 2019. A history of impactful roles includes consulting for the International Medical Corps on food assistance and serving as a Nutrition and Food Security Officer and a National Programme Officer for Nutrition at the World Food Programme. Bangura's professional foundation was built in nutrition education and program management, starting with positions at Helen Keller International and the Institute of Agricultural Research, along with teaching roles at secondary educational institutions. Bangura holds a Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and has extensive experience in nutrition program development, implementation, and management across various organizations.
