Lisa Bass

Director of Programmes at SEED Madagascar

Lisa Bass is the Director of Programmes at SEED Madagascar. Lisa has over eighteen years of experience in emergency response and recovery, having worked with the British Red Cross for over eight years. Lisa has a wealth of experience in managing programmes and teams in times of crisis, and has been instrumental in developing training standards and procedures for emergency response teams across the UK. In 2006, Lisa was part of the team managing the support lines set up in response to the flooding in the South West of the UK, and they have also trained staff and volunteers in working with those in the aftermath of crisis.

Lisa Bass studied sociology at the University of Bristol. Lisa then went on to study health and community care management at Leeds Metropolitan University. Lisa finally completed their education at Northampton High School.
