Katelyn Prendiville

Co-Founder and CEO at SeedCulture

Katelyn Prendiville has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Katelyn is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of SeedCulture, a sustainability training and engagement platform. SeedCulture is supported by Carbon13, a climate tech investor and venture-building program.

In 2022, Katelyn also joined Carbon13 as a cohort member of their "venture Builder for the climate emergency" program, participating with SeedCulture. The program aims to incubate and invest in high-growth ventures that can reduce CO2e emissions significantly.

Prior to their current ventures, Katelyn worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Churchill, a Sia Partners Company, from 2021 to 2023. Katelyn was also an Entrepreneur at Antler, a global venture capital fund and startup accelerator, in 2021.

In 2017, Katelyn founded Two White Socks, an equestrian apparel brand that grew rapidly in Australia and internationally. Katelyn achieved recognition for their startup through a Dublin accelerator and pitch competition. Katelyn also worked as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at SWAN Systems, an award-winning SaaS scaleup, from 2020 to 2021.

During their time at Kentaur Australia from 2015 to 2019, Katelyn served as the Marketing Director and contributed to the company's growth from a small local shop to the largest premium online equestrian store in Australia. Katelyn also worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant at Thompson and Redwood from 2016 to 2018 and began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Churchill Consulting from 2013 to 2016.

Katelyn Prendiville completed their high school education at Presbyterian Ladies' College, from 2002 to 2010. Katelyn then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies and Marketing at The University of Western Australia, from 2012 to 2015. Later, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship from Trinity College Dublin, from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Katelyn Prendiville has also obtained several certifications. In September 2021, they obtained the ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) certification from the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. In November 2021, they completed the Impact Measurement & Management for the SDGs course from Duke University through Coursera. Furthermore, in December 2020, they received certification for the Corporate Sustainability: Understanding and Seizing the Strategic Opportunity course from Università Bocconi through Coursera.
