Bernardo Menezes

Bernardo Menezes is the current head of product at SeedFi. Prior to that, they were the director of product management at Aura from November 2015 to February 2019, where they built and scaled online lending programs. Bernardo was also the product owner for online customer experience. Before working at Aura, Menezes was the general manager at Smartleaf Asset Management from December 2014 to October 2015, where they led the launch of Smartleaf's Registered Investment Adviser (RIA). Bernardo has also been with Smartleaf, Inc. since September 2011, where they are currently the director of product management. In this role, they work with Smartleaf's clients to understand their business needs, develop usage strategies to maximize value for them and their customers (end investors), and handle the change management required (during implementation and steady-state). Bernardo is also responsible for synthesizing the needs of our clients into actionable information for prioritizing technical enhancements.

Bernardo Menezes has a M.Eng in Operations Research & Information Engineering from Cornell University and a BS in the same field from Cornell University.

Bernardo Menezes reports to Jim McGinley, CEO. They are on a team with Charlie Honig - Head of Legal & Compliance, Rodrigo Menezes - CTO, and Eric Burton - COO.
