Benjamin Thorn

Benjamin Thorn is the current Legal & Operations Director for Seedrs US. Prior to this position, they worked as an Associate for Quinn Emanuel from January 2007 to December 2011. From January 2004 to December 2005, Thorn worked as an Associate for Davis Polk & Wardwell. Benjamin also served as the Legal Director for Seedrs from January 2016 to December 2016.

Before their work in the private sector, Thorn served as a law clerk for the Hon. Chester J. Straub of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from August 2005 to February 2007. Benjamin also clerked for the Hon. James C. Cacheris of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia from August 2003 to August 2004.

Benjamin Thorn received their J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and their B.A. in Classics from Cornell University. Benjamin also attended Trinity School.
