Siobhan Whitehouse

Siobhan Whitehouse has over 10 years of experience in risk management, compliance, and financial crime. Siobhan currently holds the position of Director - Compliance, Financial Crime & Risk at Seedrs since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crime at Seedrs from August 2022 to September 2023. Siobhan also has experience in the crowdfunding sector, where they worked as the Director of Crowdfunding at the UK Crowdfunding Association from June 2023. In addition, they have held leadership roles at Cazoo, The Very Group, and Think Money Group, where they specialized in compliance and governance. Siobhan has a background in regulatory law and began their career as a paralegal at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Baker & McKenzie. Siobhan also gained experience in family law and criminal law during their mini-pupilage at Chavasse Court Chambers. Siobhan holds expertise in financial services, motor finance, consumer credit, and product regulation.

Siobhan Whitehouse has a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Liverpool John Moores University. Siobhan also has a Diploma in ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from The University of Manchester. Additionally, they hold a Specialist Certificate in Conduct Risk from the International Compliance Association.
